Command Post - Arizona is operational
At the beginning of February, Team von Krieg's Command Post (CP) in Texas ceased operations. Since then, We've been in a transient status until the quartering party could identify and establish a new CP location in Arizona.

Last week we identified and occupied our new Command Post. After moving into the CP, our main body moved from their staging area to the CP location to commence downloading of the MILVANs for CP setup. Over the weekend, our comms went from Red to Green.

Team von Krieg's CP - Arizona is fully functional, but we are still sorting through where the Commander want's her gear set up.

As to the new CP infrastructure, WOW!!! Army living quarters have dramatically improved.

Regards,

Jim von Krieg

Welcome back, Jim! There were no wild parties while you were gone. If the liquor stock is low it's due to evaporation. It's been really dry here.

Love that Mexican food.

Brush up on your Spanish and enjoy the posting.

Who wears the pants? Well that would be me, but I also know who gives the orders... and that is not me...

To the furniture store... to the PX... to Walmart... to Target... to Lowe's... to Home Depot... Did you finish putting up that cabinet? Did you e-mail pictures to the kids? the honey do list expands exponentially while I'm at work... Sgt...

but it's all good... We're still waiting on the new couches w/recliners built in... and have a long list of things to purchase which we pitched in Texas... 52" is up and operational... better than ever as my future son-in-law hooked up all my stereo components and speakers... Campaign series in 52" HDTV and 5.1 Dolby Surround sound... of course if I get caught doing it at this point... I'll wish I was drawn and quartered... it'd be less painful... Whip

and Larry if all the alcohol is gone it's not because it evaporated, its because you guys drank it... cheers

Sierra Vista came a long way since we left, but it is clear the economy has also zapped quite a few businesses here... Auto dealers out of business... Furniture stores out of business... brand new fancy strip malls with no businesses in them... However, it also has added a Best Buy.... a Lowe's and Home Depot... a ton of eateries... and the Super Walmart is under construction... Good bye, Safeway... Fry's... Food Giant... I could be wrong because the Ace and the Sutherlands is still surviving with a Lowes and HD... Maybe the other groceries can survive...

Regards,

Jim
