Ever seen this before?
Here in a current CMAK PBEM scenario vs Sturmvogel, my Panther is area firing a nearby house. There is a sound contact of armour behind the house in the foreground. I was thinking of hunting the Panther up so it could see what was back there....

But the Panther actually targets the sound - look at that!

Next the Panther fires and actually kills the sound contact...

Turns out it was only an infantry carrier, but interesting nonetheless...

RE: Ever seen this before?
Is it even possible to manually target the sound contact?

RE: Ever seen this before?
I've never tried but I doubt it...

That wasn't a sound contact, if you go back to the file and watch it again, click on the "tank?" contact and it won't come up as a sound contact, sometimes when visibility is restricted actual visual armor contacts will appear like that.

I find it strange that it happened here though, normally it only happens at long range when the weather reduces visibility

RE: Ever seen this before?
Maybe because the house was in the way - it targeted through the house...
