I'm a newbie to this forum but I am active at the Depot. I'm looking for a game I have SPWAW Enh FR loaded. Willing to play any country except Italy. I prefer 1943 to post war what if battles.

Yep, getting SPMBT and SPWW2 downloaded would probably find you many more opponents (both are extremely good games too, and all free.. highly recommended).

If you only played SPWaW before,
I'd highly recommend playing some scenarios and AI battles first, before jumping in feet first in pbem play.
Although simular in play, but also very much different in many ways to describe here.

If you want a game, please let me know (send me a mail at [email protected]).
Assuming you dont use C&C which is abstarcted in these games the main thing to get used to is op fire. Hard to explain easier to see in action but units are more selective taking hit/kill chance threat more into acount. Keep an eye on how it works mainly with armour & you will grasp it after a while, also no extra shots at cost of suppresion in opfire.
Other things MGs are area suppressors in these games arty is slightly diffrent always fires at the same time & adjusting is a lot more efficent if you can see the hex. Speeds are correct so no covering half the map with your vehicles in a turn to bolster an area.
