World at War Magazine
Any get this magazine? It's printed by the same folks who do Strategy and Tactics.
Got a free issue out of the blue this weekend and was blown away by the detail of the articles. They have a very timely article on the battle of the Hurtgen Forest, the subject of our current tournament.
Good stuff, I may replace my Armchair General subscription for this one. No comparison.

I have been subscribing to Armchair General for years, and have always enjoyed that magazine. This World at War Magazine sounds really interesting though... Do you have any link to the magazine's home page? Any subscription info?

There are two tiers of prices. One is just he magazine, the other comes with the actual board games derived from the articles. That one's much more expensive.

I've got every issue since it's come out. I absolutely love it. The maps are very well done and they cover many aspects of the war. I actually stopped reading Armchair General for this. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the WW2.

My subscription to ACG ends next year, but I'm thinking that I'll be subscribing to this immediately.
Do you get Strategy and Tactics as well, or just World at War?

I do get Strategy and Tactics but I'm about 6 issues behind in my reading. It is a very good magazine and covers all of military history. It even covers current topics. Since I have a huge interest in WW2, World at War appeals a little bit more to me.

For the variety, I am a S&T subscriber. I also get the games, since I am a rules system junkie. Suggested that HPS advertise there. (Especially if they have a game that meshes with a feature.) I can't imagine that advertising there is expensive.
