Dersert maps without dust?

Any idea how to set up a desert (style) map that dosn't kick up dust when vehicles move?

Set the visibility down. IIRC, dust is only during the 'dry' months and a +30 or 40 vis. Search on the game manual for dust, it has the details there.
If you want high vis, set the date for a 'wet' month.
