I know this was talked about a few months back because it came up about VMs/HPS' France 14 game...there was a blurb about making the existing games-and I have a bunch of them- CD free. My old windows XP, Dell laptop's CD drive is starting to hate the constant switches
To play without the CD has been a dream of mine since childhood:conf:

Just burn the games exe start files onto a disc and leave it in your PC.

Lowlander-you telling me I burn the exe files from kursk, salerno, minsk., etc et al to one CD i can just use that ?
Hi raizer, yes refer to the pic, each of my HPSSIMS games exe files are copied into a correctly named folder, then burn them all to a CD, which can be left in your drive.
This was discussed sometime ago, we had a thread here, and I believe we were told was a fix until ALL the patches were rolled out.
Maybe some young gun will guide you thro the process as I'm gett'in a bit long in the tooth.
