Patch 1.03

Hi guys. Is anyone having a problem with HPS patch ver 1.03 for Renaissance? Installed it and game would not run. Also computer very slow after installing patch.

Me again. I just redownload 1.03 and installed. Same thing. Game would not load, fan noise increased. Computer not responses to any actions. It would not shut down or restart. Had to push tower button to shut down

Now you have me afraid to update. If I wanted this sort of worry I would update my operating system.

First report like that. The code that was changed was due to graphics driver issues, so please make sure youa re running the latest & greatest video card drivers for your machine off your manufactures web site.

I'm also having problems. Tried to run the game after installing the patch and all I got was 100% CPU usage which would not stop, and had to turn off the pc.
Seems a few folks are having problems.

Hi guys. I sent HPS an e-mail regarding Renaissance patch problem. They sent me a file and I installed it over game ver 1.03. Game now works and my computer does not misbehave. YAHOO!!

Interesting. Are you sure it's 1.03 you are running?

On the HPS website the 1.02 version is back up and 1.03 has been removed.

You are correct agmoss99 that the 1.03 patch is gone from HPS page. Although my Renaissance ver 1.03 worked after installing file that HPS sent me, it now is not running. Time to delete for the fourth time and go back to ver 1.02.

Anyone having an issue please email Support at hpssims.com and I'll share test files with you. 1.03 works good for a lot of people, now we just need to find a solution for the rest of y'all...the 1.02 was put back for those who need it.
