CD in drive to play

I just bought my first Civil War game, Antietam. The game won't launch unless the cd is in the drive. I have Squad Battles games, and they don't ask for the cd.

Is this just how the Civil War games are? How annoying.

It is my understanding that any updates that came out in July 2009 or later, don't require cd's in the drive.

That would make the following ACW games that can run with no cd to be:
Corinth, Peninsula, Ozark, Gettysburg, and Chickamauga

I think that it's pretty reasonable to assume that all the Civil War titles will be updated to include the no CD check. It'll take time but it should happen eventually...
