Enrollement for this tourney is still open...and we need some more.

I have, as of today, 9 confirmed. To have a bracket and even number for the following rounds, we need 3 more guys! A dirty dozen.

Come on fellas - step up! It will be virtually painless...

The 9 so far confirmed are...

Roman - 2ndLt_Fjun - darkwing - Panama - Shortreengage - Vesku - brm_3k - JadPanther - OldRocky

Thanks to you all, and I hope to get this rolling by the end of the upcoming week.

RE: Last Man Standing Tourney Still Open
I'm going to leave this open until January 29th, with a projected start date for Round One of January 31st.

Right now I still only have 9 - so, I'm not sure how we'll work out the uneveness for a single elimination tourney. Even if I get one more player, then numbers will be 10 for round one, but will be 5 for round two...again uneven. 12 will be reduced to 6, which would be reduced to 3...again uneven (Math was never my strong suit).

I'll work it out, but more players would be great! Anyone?

The line up is pretty intimidating... but I guess I'm in. Nothing like a good kicking to teach you how to play better SPWW2.

You need to have 1 - 2 - 4 - 8 - 16 - 32 to make it straightforward. But if you have, say, 12 players, you can make special rule to end up to an "easy" number of players. When there's 12/2=6 pairs, you just make a rule that the two "best losers" will qualify to the second round. The you have 8 players and after the it goes smoothly: 8 --> 4 --> 2 --> WINNER.

cheers,
Thexder

Sorry lads I will have to miss this one.
It looks like a fun tourney but I have zero time to spare.
Good luck!

Thanks Keepitloki

That makes 10 now if I'm correct, so we'll have enough for an even round one. Six more guys would make it perfect, but what in life is.

We'll probably go with the Thexder suggested format for Rounds1 and 2, where the single highest score of the round's losers (perhaps not the politically correct way to put it, but there you have it...) will advance to the next round. So it will be, at this point:

10 - 6 - 4 -2 - Winner

All other rules, or lack there of, remain in place.

Cheers,
