Nominations
April is just around the corner. Nominations needed for scenario of the Month. Anyone have a favorite? Somebody start.

RE: Nominations
Do they have to be new scenario's or are the old classics eligible?

RE: Nominations
Good question. Experience has taught us that the best nominations are the old classics, due to the amount they've been played. Newer custom scenarios have their own "spotlight" forum now.

No law says you can't nominate a new scenario, but it should be one that's been well played, or who would respond?

I'm going to re-nominate my last month loser "Hurricane on Biak"

So, once again I'm presently heading for a glorious landslide victory, provided no one else posts a nomination:

Hurricane on Biak (1 vote)

:smoke:

I had a quick look at the scenario database.

Here's top 6 scenarios played from WF

6) *Test of Courage D. Bevard 7.36(140) 186 19-10-71
5) Task Force Lovelady D. Bevard 8.24(134) 189 38-11-51
4) Old Friends D. Bevard 7.92(154) 232 31-9-60
3) *First Clash at Carpiquet Craig H. Foster 8.04(180) 261 41-22-37
2) *Still Full of Fight D. Bevard 8.45(208) 282 45-8-46
1) Kucher's Ragtag Circus D. Bevard 8.04(201) 292 48-9-44

Here's the top 6 from EF

6) Fire Brigade Schulze! D. Bevard 8.21(158) 297 48-20-32
5) The Battle is Joined D. Bevard 8.69(225) 299 40-15-45
4) *Storm Five-Five-Five D. Bevard 8.42(269) 408 41-12-47
3) Red Steel at Fedorovka D. Bevard 7.85(292) 412 52-12-36
2) *Giants on the Vistula D. Bevard Details 8.2(266) 419 54-10-36
1) Tank Graveyard at Minsk D. Bevard Details 8.71(353) 523 43-13-44

I've only ever played the ones I marked with an *.

Out of these I would like to nominate Still Full Of Fight. One of the first PBEM scenarios I've played, managed to get a Minor Loss only IIRC... Played the Germans, nice variety of units, including some very fine armour.

A challenging map, or that's how it felt, always some hostile tanks somewhere, able to get kills from a distance...

So many scenarios, so little time! :hissy:

I guess I would really need to experience the Tank Graveyard thing... Anyone? EDIT: Thanks Wolfman, let us try this next!

RE: Nominations
Tank Graveyard at Minsk now has the lead with 2 votes.

Borisov, Biak and Still Full of Fight trailing with 1 vote each.

Voter turnout's a little thin. Always the way with these local elections.

Still two days left to cast your votes.
