SPWaW places an asterisk after a unit's status (Ready, In Cover, etc.) if an enemy unit has spotted it. You should always know if your unit has been spotted, which doesn't entirely make logical sense. (Though it's also not entirely fair to go without the bug and generate the doppled LOS matrixes in SP:WWII, for that matter.)
I'm pretty sure you knew about it, given that you didn't hang too many troops out to dry at the ends of your turns. That, or you're super-cautious ...

I notice...how to describe it... that map is center on unit when is spotted (eg. when shoot in enemy direction).
And I'm coutions when your infantry have fc:3 and my only 1 :P ...and if you have MG34 when my troops use Bergmann LMG :)
So that you make smoke always then I see your troops

Close but not quite there yet, go to the top of the page where you can find control panel, choose blitz and the top window gives you options for which ladders you want to be active on, keep control down to choose several.
