The Return of WulfsMod
WulfsMod has returned - blitz members can access it from my files section for the time being (a permanent host is in the works).

WulfsMod for Squad Battles! ~ 6/10/2011
Back up your files first!
Simply unzip whichever game mod you want to use into the root directory of the same game.
Files for Tour of Duty, Pacific War, Red Victory and Modern War are included.
This mod mostly updates just the base counters, graphic symbols, unit boxes and some of the terrain graphics.
These graphic enhancements should not cause any gameplay issues.
Included for Modern War is a scenario called 'The Battle of the Dark Coast'. It simulates a hypothetical modern day amphibious assault and can be played either side against the AI or head to head via pbem.

Be forewarned, the Pacific War mod has some extremely sylized graphics for the japanese:

RE: The Return of WulfsMod
Excellent work!

I'll be putting this up onto Task Force Echo Four either today on my lunch hour or over the weekend.

Done. You can DL the individual game folders or the whole shooting match, depending on your gaming needs. Great stuff, IronWulf. Thanks for sharing it with the community.

RE: The Return of WulfsMod
Three turns into The Battle of the Dark Coast v1 against the A/I got me to thinking that this scenario could be recommended a very good choice for multi-player. Still makes a good game for pbem and vs A/I. But I think, would be fun to do as multi-player.
You knew the job was dangerous when you took it.

Thx! That was my goal: an interesting MW h2h scenario on a ToD/Vietnam kind of scale.

I took that version and am refining it into a version 3 and hopefully a final one so I can build out a mini-campaign from there.

I did make a few needed changes:
* the Sea Cobra's accidentally had a lot more hellfires than they would normally pack along.
* Air Support - more US airpower.
* Objectives were moved closer into the action and VPs adjusted.
* Pulled back the armor into the city (to reflect that the enemy QRF has just reached the area and are scouting the forward beachhead to detect the landing force.)
Removed the Drone since we have warthogs operating the area.

Ill upload it my members section and file section once I get it completed - if you'd like to play a match on that version it would be fun and needed to balance it out.
MW could use some more well balanced H2H scenarios - even if hypothetical.
