RE: The Official World in Flames Tournament Thread - RULES

It was my idea at least that we would change rules on a continuous base, to perhaps experience new sides to JTCS and to scenarios in addition to setup that we are most comfortable with.

Since we are playing for points, I did add a guideline that should a scenario be specifically balanced for certain setup then that would be the one to use. Otherwise, the setup for that particular Round would prevail.

I propose experimenting with VV. It does make the gaming a bit more predictable :)

Please make it "optional" and I'm all for it! cheers

Current rules are:
ALL rules OFF except AF ON

Change to:
ALL rules ON except EA and VV OFF

Yes / No

Yes. That's how I normally set the optional rules for my PBeM matches.

Note: I'm currently in the first quarter of a RS match and would have to wait until I get paired with my next opponent before implementing this proposed change.

If indeed there are changes they will only come into effect in the next assignments, all current assignments are going ahead as they are.

For my clarification... When I complete a tourney game, I am free to record it as a "regular" match in the CS ladder - correct? :chin:

I will also receive tourney points as specified in the rules - correct? :chin:

Thanks! cheers

Correct, the tournament points add to your team's score so for individual points on the CS ladder the game must be reported as per usual.

I'll play any rules, but those are the rules I normally choose. EA and VV is fine, too. So I guess what I should say is I don't care. :conf:

I prefer to play with EA on. But if the rules tell different I have no problem with that. :smoke:

RE: The Official World in Flames Tournament Thread
As I said, I prefer the rule without EA.
I think the old standard scenarios are therefore
no longer balanced.
I'm doing a lot more effect to extreme fog of war and armor facing. This is standard, you can talk about the rest. Who plays with the adjustment of the optional
Rules, as in our current passage??
