December Scenario of the Month Nominations
Who'd like the honor of nominating a scenario of the month for the final slot in 2011? WF, EF, RS? Step right up!

Just played WF - ''Through the eye of the needle''
Falaise Gap, interesting game. Would like to know how the Germans
achieve a draw at the least? !!!!
I'll nominate this one!

I'll second "Still full of fight" a great scenario!

Interesting battle all around. M36's vs Panthers. Sloped armor vs the USA 90mm GMC! Scenario is fast and deadly!

My favourite "noob" scenario for the opponent to play as Axis. Nice little kampfgruppe, everything one needs to learn of combined arms. Compact battlefield, excellent units...

Impossible to get a good result as Axis though so a little gentleman's agreement will be needed :smoke:

Whoops! My mistake! :eek1: I was quoting the statistics for my nomination - "Still Full of Fight"!! :conf:

Impossible to achieve a "good result as Axis?" :chin:

There are 130 Allied and 133 Axis recorded wins with this scenario.

I've recorded Major Victories both as the Allies and Axis.

Seems pretty balanced to me. :)

----------------------------

"Too Little, Too Late" has the following recorded games....

There are 19 Axis and 38 Allied recorded wins for this scenario. Also, 11 Draws. So, BK is spot on!

So far:

Still Full of Fight – 2 votes
Through the Eye of the Needle – 1 vote

A full day of nominating/voting left and too close to call.

Aye, a bit careless use of words from my part.

"Good result" was referring to Major Victory for Axis. But that seems possible then as well.

It would be nice if the scenario database could list the results in more details. Then I would not need to guess about this?

This is why players' comments on recorded games are so important? Players views, especially on "balance" and "playability", help add details that would otherwise be missed with just a statistical summary. :)

Exactly! I always read the player comments first. It should be a mandatory field if you ask me...

Still Full of Fight gets the nod. Be sure to take the poll and add some thoughts here: https://www.theblitz.club/message_boards...?tid=60370

...and, by the way, it's never to late to add your "poll" votes to any of the older month's scenarios or to add thoughts as you replay them.
