Gil,
I helped in the playtest in H-2-H of this game by playing Allies in the North with Dan Caviness. I know this game fairly well by now.
Still playing a version with Dan Caviness as North side Axis commander vs. Von Luck and Tiger 88. We are on Turn 7.
I am good to play this...
It is HUGE!
I prefer not to play with EA or VV, but if you wish to play those on, I can do it...(not a non-starter for me).
Currently I am not in process in playing many games, and would like to add a few. This one counts for about three as Allies!
Let me know...

Dale, is this a team game or can 2 people play it H2H? And I would prefer at least EA, since I think it is more realistic.

RE: OPPONENT WANTED
Gil,
It is set up to be a two person team game.
The Allies split evenly.
The Axis split is a little more fuzzy.
Axis player can easily be played by one player, especially early.
It gets a little more complex as the turns go forward (expect an extra save or two).
Allied is a long haul.
You would need to expect a couple of extra saves out of Allied player in general.
It is hard to do a turn in a single sitting.
I can do it.
EA is fine.
I don't care for it, but your assessments about it are pretty right on.
I believe it adds a little more random feature to game.
It will favor the Axis here in a couple of places, but it probably should...closer to reality as you have stated.
Let me know what you think.

RE: OPPONENT WANTED
Just wanted to take a look, but it seems like there is only a READ ME file to download in scenario datadase. Maybe I am doing something wrong, though...

RE: OPPONENT WANTED
Dale, let's do it H2H with EA. As to the new weapon types where can I read up on how to best use them?

Gil,
Grabbed your e-mail off of web-site.
Hope that is correct one.
I sent first move, with ROE.
Everything on, but VV.
I described a few of Axis variants.
Others can help supply location of information on them.
I'm not exactly sure.
Bridge blowing and mine laying are the primary ones for the Axis.
Bridge building and moving fast are the issues for Allied.
I explained on-board aircraft also.
They should be used and exited.
Not used as forward spotters.
