I looked at MW, but I would have rather seen a Desert Storm type game.

Seriously I wouldn't buy MW, I'd get Winter War...(or Vietnam or Korea for something after WW2).

Yes, Winter War....that is another good one that I just bought recently. The problem with WW is that there are seemingly a lot less players available for it...and less modding being done for it. I have deciced that any SB that Ozgur writes scenarios for is a must buy.

Most of the 'veterans' I know on this site own Winter War, so it shouldn't be an issue with regards to finding an opponent.
It's an under appreciated game, and conflict.

Good point gabeeg.
I am not aware of any 3rd party scenarios or art mods that were made exclusively for that title.
Yes, Oz scenarios/games are very hard to pass up!

There are none as far as I know. Given it is one of the more 'obscure' SB games, I don't see a ton of outside work being done on this title.
SAW's got some great scenarios by Oz as well.

Not to highjack the thread, but why didn't HPS do the following time spans.
1939 to 1941: Poland, France, Crete....etc.
North Africa
or maybe a 1946 America/British/German vs Russia :)

I can do one same as the RV and AotR mod...most if not all the work is pretty much done. Trouble is I lost my copy..if someone can send me the unit.bmps for map and info, plus tell me again exactly what Nations are included...was it just Finnish, Russian,Russian guards and German?
