Need help reporting discontinued games (Rule #9)
I need to know who is currently acting as ladder commander so i can report some discontinued games as per procedure described by Rule#9 in the "Rules" section of the Blitz Wargaming Club. Please let me know where i can send the reports. Thanks. Salute

You just report it as per normal, but take whatever level of victory you wish as long as you have done everything required (post on the SP forum and send emails and wait the required period of time).

We have a procedure in place which spells out what actions are required to be able to claim a Discontinued game

Here is an excerpt from ROE #9:

"Prior to claiming a game based on Rule # 9 the following information MUST be presented to the Ladder Commander and /or the Assistant Ladder Commander in charge.

Gather your facts; here is a list of info that will be needed.
Is this player a member of the Blitz? What is his handle and Email?
When was last contact?
When did you last request a file from him?
Did you post on the MB for this player to return a file?
Can you provide some copies of these attempts in your Email?

Email your Opponent and CC the Ladder Commander with the following message.
State that you are interested in finishing this game and if your opponent does not respond with his turn in a timely manner that you will claim a victory of the highest level as per the club rules when opponents abandon games.
Present your opponent an opportunity to negotiate an agreeable result if you want, this could help get the desired result you are looking for. Do include dates and detail your attempts to contact this person.

IF the Ladder Commander has documentation that backs up your story and your opponent fails to present the Commander with contradictory evidence of his attempts to continue the match, the Ladder Commander will enforce the rules set forth in section #9 of the Rules of Engagement and award you a victory for the game.

Please do not report discontinued games without informing the Ladder Commander. "

That is what I said, do everything that is required. You don't need the custodian to report the game for you.

The procedure was carried out accordingly, acting SP Ladder commander (compass rose) was very helpful. One of my AWOL opponents answered last call. Battle conclusion was negotiated and result was logged on. The other opponent is still AWOL, as duly authorized I will log game result tomorrow if he doesn't answer last warning today. Salute5
