Memoir '44 -- WWII game

My "World War II" magazine had a favorable write-up of this WWII game, "Memoir '44". It has a board game as well as a free computer version (single player versus the AI, or play online). I'm in the process of downloading it now. I think it's worth a look! Apparently features more than just the original D-Day setting.

Thanks. I'll check out the new forum! Haven't played the first game yet...just been looking it all over.

My understanding is that you spend 'gold ingots' for online play versus human opponents, but is play versus the game AI always at no cost, or are ingots spent for that, too?
