Looking for a BGW PTW NIR opponent

Hi there,

I'd like to play NIR's battle of Borodino with someone experienced. I'd preferably take the Russian and would love to see how I can get my ass kicked off the redoubts.

If you're a rookie, we can still do something, that would a pleasure as well. I have all three modules.

I have a slow rate of play, like 2/3x files per week if the battle is large.

If you cannot find another opponent and don't mind a slow rate of play, I can play that game. I'd prefer the historical fixed version to the unfixed one but I'm flexible.

Great. I'm also favourable to the fixed scenario.
Slow rate of play really won't affect me.

I have Talonsoft's NIR version, I hope it can work with you. I'm having trouble updating to 1.03 but maybe I don't do it properly. I have the UK version. Maybe you've got a clue ?

Fire off a turn when ready.

Make sure you install the uk version of the patch first then the Tiller 32 bit upgrade.

I have the Matrix version now. The Talonsoft version does not work with Win7!

Alright, I should get back to you soon.

I'm currently running a clean install of NIR on a Win XP I'm still using, so no worries there. I have to find a working patch and we can carry on.

If you can't get the 1.03 patch and the Tiller Upgrade patch, let me know and I'll email you them.
