Sorry about that, if you let me know the username you signed up with then I will activate you manually.

RE: Defended Hex Question
Gerry, Liebchen made a river mod a while back that might be what you need:

About the trouble seeing elevation changes - try the 'Contours' function in the game, which is good when trying to read 'the lay of the land' so to speak. Have it permanently activated, or use it only when needed as I do. An invaluable little function. ;)

RE: Defended Hex Question
I have been using the contours and it really helps and probably my eyes will learn to get a better feel for the shades over time. Thanks for the link.

re: streams and rivers

If you're having trouble telling the two apart, you can always go to Task Force Echo 4, download my mod for the game, and cannibalize the streams and rivers textures. They won't look out of place on Jison's Map Mod and the color contrast is greater.

re: contours

My elevations tend to have slightly stronger color differentiations than Jison's Map Mod, but the difference is still pretty subtle. I think his advice is best: keep the map line contours turned on until you are comfortable with the lay of the land.

Be sure to read the instructions. The Panzer Campaigns mods are not stand-alone mods.

RE: Defended Hex Question
If you're having trouble distinguishing between rivers and streams, you might try my river mod.
