Sounds good. I need to read up on "how to PBEM," I'll do so, get my first turn set up and send to you in next few days. We have in holiday weekend here in the US coming up and I'll be out of town for most of it. If I don't get you a turn before this weekend, I'll make sure to get it out no later than Monday.

Oh you are going to like this game. Very detailed, very in-depth. Let us know how you like it when you get started.

RE: WITP Admirals Edition question
Twenty (!) years have passed since I bought the "Pacific War" program from SSI. I played it regularly until '04, when I got WITP on the day it was released. I played that steadily until '09, when AE became available. I don't know how many dozens (hundreds?) of other war games I bought and abandoned since '92, but the Grigsby titles have more then paid for themselves in terms of their entertainment value.
I'll say the same for the HPS/JTS titles.

RE: WITP Admirals Edition question
Great game and worth every penny, but honestly not everyone's cup of tea and yes it will take 1-2 years to finish a campaign game. I was sending 1-2 turns out on weekdays and 4-6 turns on weekends.
Smaller scenarios are good for learning the basics, but campaign game is a totally different story. Just be careful about engaging the IJN carrier task forces early in the war. A good player will usually form them into powerful death stars and with the early war coordination advantages the IJN has makes for many torched US carriers and escorts if you're not careful.
Many players expecting the Japanese to make the same historical mistakes get a rude awakening.
