Off Topic  Project Update: Month 5.5
Well, my sons are providing just as much insight into myself as my daughter, who is now 4, did and continues to do.

They're saying Ma-Ma and Da-Da, though Ma-Ma is with more intentional usage directed at her than the Da-Da is. This made my wife happy, as my daughter's first word was Da-Da.

They continue, generally, to hold true to prior reported personality types. Harrison is the H-bomb, and Larry is the Dali Lama.

They also have proven to violate the generally accepted laws of physics by eating more food than science acknowledges they can contain. Current weights: 17 + and 16 + pounds. After being sick several times and plateauing these weights are pretty good.

Between them, Julia, the flooring store, the legal practice, and trying to have a life, things are pretty complicated. All in all, things are going well, just need to get everyone healthy. Including the freaking cars. :-)

Peace be up on you all,

LR

RE: Project Update: Month 5.5
Greetings on most Grand and Powerful Pooh Bah...

After disaster on the Afghan Front, the laptop died, the HP is dead, the HP is dead... LONG LIVE THE HP!

I have remade him (meaning I bought a new one), bigger, faster, stronger... reborn a Toshiba... LONG LIVE THE TOSHIBA!

I am waiting on the install of Matrix CS as I surf the Blitz..

MUCH, MUCH WORK! There were three people doing what I alone am doing now.. Folks with a lot more rank and pay than I... Now, I burn the candle at all four ends... LOL... And you only thought there were two ends... Yesterday be an especially miserable day... but today was much better... and hopefully tomorrow will be even better...

Its good to see that you are moving forward.. much better than the last time I saw you checked in.. Progress... its a wonderful concept...

Best Regards from Kabul,

Jim

Stay safe my friend. Make sure Scott keeps his head down.

I have great faith in my Toshiba laptop. After working for Compaq and going through the acquisition by HP, I had used HP exclusively until they (long after I left) refused to stand behind a defective product. Then, after exhaustive research, Toshiba it was. I hope you have as good an experience with yours.

And yes, things are much better here - the move was exactly what I was hoping it would be (besides incredibly complicated, time consuming, and frustrating, ha). once again master of my own fate... as they say.

When are you rotating back? Why the sudden decrease in manpower in your area? Prep for the draw down next year?

Take it easy when you can and remember we're all standing with you, even if we can't be there physically. You honor your people and your nation.

Scott done bugged out on me... LOL... He's moving to Virginia from California... Can't blame him though, he had done his time...

I'm just glad to see that you've seized control of life again and things seem to be headed in the right direction... Its seems you have it by the tail and getting drug along for the ride... LOL...

Take care,

Jim
