Within the next several days, the Eastern and North-Eastern United States is going to be hit by what weather forecasters are saying could be the storm of the century; “The Perfect Storm“.

If you have any ongoing PBEM games against opponents who live in this affected area of the United States, please be extra patient for the next few weeks. With the expected major power outages, you will have great difficulty being able to contact your opponents.

Hi all,
The organization I work with is taking donations and organizing relief efforts for the devastated Jersey Shore and Long Island.

I've personally contacting those on the coast who are helping with shelters. Many families are displaced with homes and businesses flooded. Most are without power and have limited phone service.

I hope the moderators don't mind if I post this. I just figured some of you might want to help.
