Am I correct in reading your post, Dennis? Free e-books on Amazon in a Kindle format?However I happen to have some up to thirty in reading simultaneously already so ... a sure wear and tear and an attrition by reading even more.

Hi Marcin yes Amazon does have a lot of free books on WWI.I think the reason they are free is that anything before 1930 doesn't have copyright protection therefore they can give it away for free.

Yes they are free. I picked up a couple of them after seeing Landser's post. I've got way to many books on my Kindle now but a few more never hurt. Never know when you might get snowed in. I admit it's less then likely here in West Texas but it would be worth it for the moisture.
