Just Returned - Have the CS games been re-released?

Greetings!

It's been a few years since I've been at the Blitz but I hope all of my old friends are doing well and everyone is enjoying the new year.

I have an old version of the the CS games. I take it the entire series was purchased and re-released by a different company. If so, where can I purchase the new game (especially if that is the version most people are using these days)?

If everyone is using the new version, I'll purchase it as soon as possible and would be interested in anyone that would like to start a battle.

Separately, has anyone played Showdown at Borisov against a human opponent? I've never played the scenario (vs. human or A/I) but it seems massive and fun. Just curious - also read feedback that folks enjoyed it as a team game.

Welcome back. The Campaign Series games are now published by Matrix Games and all 3 (EFII, WF, and RS) are sold as one package, nearly everyone is playing this version now. Check out matrixgames.com for current prices etc.

However I still possess the Talonsoft disks so if you want a game I can re-install one and play you

I believe Matrix have some titles at special prices until 14th Jan (not much time left). So if you quick you might get a discounted price on the game.

There are a good few players with the old TS disks available, but the majority of the games and tournaments are being played with the new Matrix version.

Lots of new stuff available for the new version as well.

I'll echo what other folks have stated... you should purchase the Matrix version of CS... and than get a few PBeM games underway! Big Grin2

Thanks everyone! I just purchased the games and downloaded some of the updates from the website and am excited to get a few games underway. It's also great just to be back at the Blitz!

Is anyone interested in an EF game - preferably not too large at this point? If so, let me know a scenario and which side you want. I played a lot of the scenarios several years back, but I can honestly say that I've forgotten them all (except The Battle is Joined - strange, eh?).
