RE: What's the consensus?
Its hard to say. Seems that the most popular game is always the newest one. At the moment Moscow '42 is the one receiving the most 'talk'.
I have them all, end yet there are some I have never played.
The most enjoyable ones have been Normandy, Budapest, Stalingrad, Tunisia.
I have played Kharkov 42, Market Garden, France and Sicily...they were okay.
I didn't like Bulge, but I know others love that one. I recently played a scenario from Sealion, and it was a wild one. I will probably play a campaign of that some time soon. A lot of the other ones I have only played a scenario or two at most...and some I have never played at all, like El Alamein, Tobruk, Smolensk, Kursk, Rzhev, Kharkov 43 and Salerno
So I guess it comes down to personal preference, and perhaps even to what books you have read on what battles. Or if you like Grand Offensives like Minsk/Stalingrad/Normandy, or go for the more personal battles of Tunisia....
Really, I think if you buy something that interests you, you will probably find somebody here who will play it.
