Opponent Wanted  Ready for battle!
Opponent wanted, either WW2 or MBT, newest version, that is open for suggestions (I have much), plays 1-2 turns a day, sticks to general realism and understanding, and more or less to these rules:

I'm comfortable with almost anything WW2'ish.
One of the more outlandish notions of WW2 was by Gen. "Howling Mad" Smith. He suggested instead of landing in North Africa, his 5th amphibous Corp be landed in North Germany, drive to Berlin, hang Hitler and end the war. The Army went nuts, of course. The Navy wanted nothing to do with a forced passage of the Danish Straits. Smith probably suggested the idea to tweak the Army. Not sure it was doable in late '42. The US Navy really didn't have the carriers to do something like that. It was possible in late '43 though. By then the new Essex Class was coming on line and the USW Navy had air superority anytime anywhere it wanted.
There were several alternatives to Normandy in '44. The 'Baltic Option was just one of several.
I bring this up because The second wave ashore would have been a Polish armored division.

RE: Ready for battle!
Hello. If you play with Low_bidder ww2, you may want to play with me spmbt?

hmm. I read the rules. I find too many rules.
It may be interesting to investigate real formations but is too much for me.
My rules are summarized as:
1) Do not overdo zero size units. One sniper, one team AT and scout by company.
2) 15% of artillery all over the map.
Now I ask out of curiosity. Is not preferably used task forces rather than fixed formations?

RE: Ready for battle!
I dont think my rules are that much, majority focuses on realism and realism only. I also do not tend to limit artillery, I also expect people to just keep to general realism here.
I am planning a game with low_bidder, we will see if I have time for one more.
