The next scenario is 1914_0829_01s: French Morale Restored which is 14 turns long, as with all the scenarios the default opt rules must be used.

" This scenario is like a revolving door, on the left and centre the French must push as hard as possible in the direction of St. Quentin and Marcy taking advantage of their superiority in numbers in this area, but to the east of Guise a storm approaches in the form of the Gardekorps which will be a juggernaut that the French forces in this area may find impossible to stop, so while the French advance in one area they may have to give ground in another and the whole battleline may revolve around Guise.

The player who balances the challenges thrown up on these two very different fronts will emerge the winner! "

We have complete three turns. The poilus (Maseda) have beaten up my Germans so far, but now the feared Prussian Guard are getting into action. The outcome hangs in the balance.

We are on turn 10 , a bloody battle, might be up to the last man standing, fearful losses on both sides.
I am away from next Monday until 12th August.

WE may finish before this but it will be touch and go and I am sorry for the delay if we don't make it because we are playing as promptly as we can.
