Welcome aboard!

I have never played the NAP campaigns so I am trying to locate someone who can help you.

Hopefully, it will not take long.

RE: Problem with Waterloo campaign game
My guess and I'll need to look at the Campaign tree when I get home is it ends with a decisive victory and does not continue because of such. What does your map look like & how many turns are there? Is the Anglo-Allied Army present too or just the Prussians??

Welcome by the way!

I just want to tell you right now that the Waterloo Campaign is a complete ahistorical fantasy joke, compiled and designed by fantasy specialist Charlie Crutsell that, except for the great map, bears absolutely no relation to any historical event that ever happened anywhere ever. The HPS team knows this and does nothing. jonny

RE: Problem with Waterloo campaign game
Well I took a look at the campaign editor and it looks like it is suppose to go on to Ligny and Quatre Bras, not sure why it isn't.

Try emailing HPS Support - [email protected]

I'll check in with some folks for an answer as well.

Got to agree with Scott on this one, should have taken you on to another battle. Best thing to do is send the file to HPS Support.

RE: Problem with Waterloo campaign game
I am using ver 104 and the last expansion , and i found the problem, asking on the wargamer forum too.
the problem was that when i save the game in the battle, i use the " Save as" menu and not the save button
soo when i save the file the game save it only as a battle file and not as a campaign; instead if i use "Save" only, or click on the icon , the game save it as a campaign soo when i exit the program and start it again from campaign menu as old campaign it is all k.
btw thanks all for help
ciao
Antonio

RE: Problem with Waterloo campaign game
Yes. Save As is great for the large single campaign games after initial choices have been made. It converts the file to a .bte format. It won't work with the small linked campaign scenarios as you cannot convert back from .bte to cp format. So for the small linked games stick to Save, although it in fact saves as you go along so it's not really necessary.
