M42 Team Game

Winter winds are blowing on the capital of the Soviet Union. The BOSS wants two Russian commanders for a team game of the M42 scenario #1206_06 Tula Operation : December 6th, 1941 - Zhukov's Left Flank (#1206_06 Tula.scn) to punish the German invaders near Tula and drive them back.

Default optional rules only.

RickyB and I recently played the Russians in this one. Our worthy German opponents gave us a very tense and good game. It was not until turn 64 of 77 that the situation had turned in favor of the Russian 50th & 10th Armies to a point where the Guderian's Germans had to call it quits.

Now we want to give the Germans a try. Be prepared to go the distance.

This can be a tense game with a fairly low number of units to command as a tram game. Turns can move very quickly.

I hope Google translate got the Russian right at the top of this post. If not, maybe some of Russian speaking members can help me fix it.

I may volunteer for the Soviet team: I was playing this one against Shawn Moore who disappeared some time ago from both this game and the M '42 the Klin - Solnechnogorsk opertaion team game in which Rick is also participating on the German side. That way I happen to have a vacant slot.

Sorry, I thought Dog Soldier updated this. We have the game going with the 2 that we had just played , switching sides with them.

Yes, I feel much better in that one, with the dense German lines, compared to Tula.

Maybe you and Burroughs cans get a different team game going.
