The bridge unit at 27,19 does not want to bridge the river hexside. Its turn 25 out of 35 is this correct? Also is there anyway to bridge the river at hex 31,13? None of the bridge units will move.

It depends on a die roll, which means that if you get really unlucky it will take a long time for the bridge to be completed.

In my test run, the bridge at 27,19 was completed on turn 3, a very good result.

The bridge engineer unit has about an 11% chance to build a bridge per turn, I believe.

92% (units with less than 100 men have their effectiveness reduced with the number of men as a percentage out of 100), times 2/3 (this is a guess, but as platoon units have 1/3 bridging effectiveness compared to companies, I'm guessing 2 platoons have 2/3 bridging effectiveness) gives about 61%. Times 1.2 for the quality bonus is 73%-74%.

That 73%-74% is out of the parameter data figure of 15%, so about 11% per turn for the bridge operations to be completed and a bridge to appear.
