Help  Map Editing
Does anybody know how or if it's possible to change the deployment line on a map? I'm trying to change a map for a battle and I can edit everything but THAT. It's driving me nuts.

RE: Map Editing
Hi.
As far as I know that is impossible in a PBEM.
It is possible however when designing a scenario.

RE: Map Editing
If it is a H2H game just state how many hexes to deploy from map edge, if scenario deploy yourself where you want it.

RE: Map Editing
Early this century I tried my hand at PBEM scenarios. I don't do scenarios since there is little or no surprise. What I did to keep the unknown unknown was to have the units enter the map in road march order. One was a good sized battle, with almost 500 units per side. After positioning nearly 1,000 units, I no longer had the urge to create PBEM scenarios. I forget who I press ganged into helping me test but theyt said they liked having their units enter in road march order. Since the entrance hexes were known I had to be careful to keep them from being fired on until the combat units had entered and were deploying.

RE: Map Editing
In my tournaments, if possible, I allowed the players to deploy their units in the scenarios which is done by buying but not deploying the units. This means P2 has to deploy first, then send to P1 who deploys and then plays turn 1.
