CMFI - The Winter of our Discontent versus DB_Zero has ended, with a Major Victory for the defending Canadians.

Well played, DB_Zero, in the end you just ran out of time. Helmet Smile

Congrats on your victory. I was thinking about hitting the surrender button early in the game. I drove 3 of my Mark IVs into a vineyard and they were out of the battle and played virtually no role. Then when I was attacking the right flank my Wespe got bogged down.

You managed to destroy more of my tanks and I wanted to quit, but marched my troops on the right flank across the map to assist in the brutal assault on the warehouse.

Your arty barrage killed my STUG and it took a lot of desperate infantry assault to finally kill that Sherman.

Definitely a lot of fun, but very frustrating.

Vineyard and any sort of tracked vehicles don't mix. I was paying for them to get out, but once they get immobilized in a vineyard they are as good as gone.

Oh yeah the ground is really muddy in that scenario. I am keeping my tracked vehicles on the roads and even then I have two PzIVs that are immobilized (you can't always stay on the road)

My Seven Winds battle vs Panzer Lehr just finished with my Axis butt handed to me on a plate together with a garnish of cress and a crescent of Pringles! I'd kinda describe the scenario as a forlorn hope last stand, but well played to Art/PL who did a complete job on me. Fun scenario and great map. I would definitely recommend the Axis side to anyone with a penchant for a real challenge 😜
