Register Problem

Someone contacted me and told me he has problem to register here, the problem is there is no captcha showing up on the register page but he gets the "invalid captcha code" message.
Here a screenshot from him how it looks, any clue how this could be solved?

We get several new registrations every week however, no one else is having the same issue that your friend is having.

He is using Chrome.
Is there anything special about this captcha on the register page that it could not be loaded?

Only thing that comes to my mind is that he is from china, his mail extension is ruc.edu.cn what is the "Renmin University of China", could a Chinese operating system have problems loading this captcha?
