Can you mod the map itself?

RE: Can you mod the map itself?
Hi Peter,

Thanks for the exhaustive post(s).

I promise I will have a look at this - but once we get Normandy out. I expect their to be a patch for Kursk once we finish the next game and if it makes sense we will include an updated map in that build.

That said, I need to check every scenario before we adjust map features as there maybe positions where we impact setups etc. There will be a little bit of additional work to 'straighten out the kinks' as you mention.

More on this when we are post the next release.

And remember Peter, the roads and rails can't be as straight as in reality, as they run hex center to hex center, basically. So while a rail line may be perfectly straight for miles, on the map it can't be unless it is following the hex grain in whatever direction. So that doesn't account for the real kinks you showed originally, but at least some of the later rail images make sense on this basis.

Thanks David (Strela). That's great. Be good to get some of the kinks out of the rails and roads for a later update.

Many thanks for listening!

Very useful - thanks. We're constantly on the look out for various scale maps.
