It is our sad duty to report the passing of fellow Blitzer Darren Boughner, Caius.

Darren first joined the Blitz back in April of 2005, first joining the Tiller Operational Campaigns ladder, and later, the Black Powder ladder. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family at what must be a difficult time of the year for them.

The Blitz especially would like to commend  Havoc, for generously making this donation to the Blitz, in Darren’s name, to honor the memory of one of his favorite PBEM opponents.

Darran was from Vancouver. I first met him back in the mid-90s when Tiller's first games came out via Talonsoft. We played Waterloo, Ligne and Quatre Bras many times and we had long phone talks about Napoleonics. Then about 10 years ago I lost track of him but I didn't know he was here. So sorry to reconnect with him only upon news of his death; he was a really good guy who LOVED wargaming. jonny :(
