I really like the look of it. Like a hand painted cloth map.

Exactly! More like a topographical map of sorts.

Have to say that I like it!
Is it just available for EF?

RE: 2D Terrain mod
Hi Ed, I bundled it for EF, but I believe it will work for WF as well. Renaming the folder to WF after copy it to another folder, then dump it in the mods folder. Better yet, give it a day or so, I will make it so! Should work in RS as well. Just a notion I had the other day, CSME started it, since the 2d tiles are so much larger now, my aging eyes thought a little texture might foot the bill!

I also added a little variance in the fields, a touch of grain in the otherwise corn field type. Am thinking of making plowed filed graphics for use in scenario's, where otherwise, the player sees nothing, usually.

Plowed fields would be another nice touch.
I use a HD monitor and was just looking at Another Lost Victory scenario. A big map. It looks really good.

Thanks man! The mod is made to be used with JSGME. Unzip the mod into your MODS folder, it will be under C:\Games\Matrix Games\John Tiller's Campaign Series\Mods, or something like that, whatever you installed to?

Then, in the John Tiller's Campaign Series folder, you will find JSGME, double-click on it, when it comes up, look on the left for the EF-Terrain , one left click to select it, hit the right-facing arrow in the middle area to install, and voila!! Exit JSGME and hopefully you will enjoy the new in game look.
