Thanks Adolf, ok I can see the issue you're highlighting - let me talk to Berto.

Previously buttons can fit on a single line. And now two and this is inconvenient. How can I make one line?
Thanks for the answer.

With 1024x768 screen resolution, you can restore the one-line Classic Small toolbar by (a) toggling the Maximize window control, then (b) resizing the window to full-screen.  Please try that to see if it works.  It works for me.

This only works if you stretch the window with the mouse. But it should be done all the time after a new start of the game which is inconvenient. If you expand the game in full screen the two lines.

It is also noticed this problem and with the new interface. 3 line although it can be located and 2.

just a thought about those new icons............

it would have been nice if you guys kept the the old artwork for each existing icon and just added the new icons to the new list.

it seems like such a chore to hunt for the old icons....the ones most used.

the location of fire/move is a pain......all Tiller games have the the fire/move icon on the far left. You guys put it on the far right............why?

The Classic Small toolbar wrap issue at 1024x768 has been fixed.

For the new Standard toolbar, the aim here is to achieve similar-length toolbar rows.  It is WAD.

Fixed the Classic Small & Standard Small toolbar wrap at 1024x768 (window maximized) screen resolution.  A single row for the former, and double row for the latter.

Available in the forthcoming v1.02a bug-fix patches.

Hi,

For the fire and move we deliberately put it on the right so that players did not inadvertently select end turn. There was some thought put into it and probably the most major one was that we believed we needed to set things up in a more logical manner than just the 'old' Tiller way.

Also please note that the Ctrl key will still change Fire/Move on the fly if held down.

We did not like mixing the old artwork with the new and it looked weird with the new icons from a stylistic perspective.

We're certain after a while you will get use to them and John has actually taken the icons for evaluation for updating other series...

RE: 1.02 patch for Panzer Battles Normandy - Released
Hi David,

For the 1.02 patch I did not see the Planning Map.pdf in the manual directory for Normandy (Kursk had one). Was it removed in this patch? I found a copy in the 1.01 patch.

Not sure if I deleted on accident, or if the batch file did, or if it was removed (it is a large file). I can't remember if I downloaded it off the JT site. I did search the entire game directory and came up empty.

Thanks in advance.

Gris,

Great question. The planning maps for Kursk were 13mb, the ones for Normandy were 203mb(!!).

We left Kursk in the download but excluded it for Normandy as that would have added 50% more to the size overall.

We did point people to the maps at the JTS website and that is obviously where you got it from.
