More Technical problems here...

okay  I have the audiere.dll files in each of the game folders,   now  when I try to start  EFII  I get this message

East Front.exe  Error ID 100) grafx.cpp,line 220
Buff::throw image 0) controls 4.bmp not found   

any help much appreciated

If I were you I'd completely uninstall the whole thing using Windows uninstall programs, reboot your computer, then make sure the JTCS folder is deleted from your hard drive (if it's still there, just delete it), and install everything again to the default locations. After it's installed, open any game to the first splash screen and click the link that checks for updates and run the patches, or get the current build from Matrix and install that. I'd also advise you turn off your anti-virus/anti-malware while you install, in case one of those programs is being overly protective.
