I bought the CS game from Matrix and I am not sure what the version is as it is not prominent on the screen. I have played through some of the rising sun battles and I used to play back when CS came out so it has been a while. I would like to play a small scenario to get my feet wet. EF, WF or RS are fine, any suggestions?

The choice is yours smaller the better, I am in the same position as you I also played when it first came out, I don't mind being on the defensive and I would think EF or WF would be the best choice.

Same situation here: I played Talonsoft's scenarios 15 years ago, today I've purchased the Matrix edition. I'm open to play some EF/WF/RS games to return to gaming.
