Any thought about the map so far ?

Very interesting map. Perfect for a fair tourney game IMHO.  Enjoying it!  We are quickly getting locked into contact......with only 30 minutes, no time for subtleties!

anyone else get the 'this website is unsafe' on a red screen when they click on the link in the first post? a windows defender message, it says this website has been reported to Microsoft as likely to be trying to obtain personal information!

I am having this problem as well. My security is blocking me from downloading the file.

HK- Mont-Félon was a fun map against a cunning, intelligent opponent, that resulted in an exciting game that both sides gave no quarter. I look forward to the rest of the tournament and the maps.

well, as I predicted to Henniak, I am out the first round. Despite doing quite alright in the cm ladder, I don't think I have ever fought in such a one sided battle as that and its the main reason I never fight QB's. Where is the competition when you just cherry pick crack troops armed to the teeth with autos and crack Panthers? A farce really, but I am the first to admit I so rarely play QB because of that reason (being a realism buff) so it means I always pick a historically likely formation and end up fighting against some uber elite force by someone else, as happened here.
Also heavy arty?!...I literally lost over half a company when that fell in a small village that I was enjoying some street fighting in.

I guess that's what you all do in these QB tournies, just not for me, i'll stick to scenario pbems.

It was the first time i play QB.
I guess the debate between realist oob and optimised oob is old as this game.
In all cases the panthers will be a big problem for Americans and I predict a lot of German victory.

But I'm agree with Guardsman, it's a great map and historical oob will do a great scenario !
