map error?
Query for Bill: whilst playing Aldenhoven H2H I looked at the area on google earth and read about it - is it possible you've missed a VERY large forest that would have been there - the Hambach?  Wikipedia says it was 12,000 years old, until it was cut down between 1979 and present day, so not much is left now - but it took up the entire space now occupied by a vast open-cast lignite mine. Take a look on google earth - you can't miss it (see image attached). And search Hambach Forest on Wikipedia. You have fields on the map instead.

Not always possible to find period maps when I was creating the maps. This one got missed.

At present I am homeless and cannot update the maps. Send this along to Rich Hamilton please. I am using a tablet or phone to access these forums.
