Cannot use breakdown

Hello:
Trying to break 850 PzGr into smaller units. Also some tanks. But when I click Command --> Combine/Breakdown, it says "Units cannot be combined". But I don't want to combine anything. I have only one unit selected. What am I missing?

Does the unit name show some '+' ?

Only units that are named like "PzGrenB 13+++" can be broken down, if I remember correctly each '+' stands for one unit that can be separated.
