HPS Compatibility with JTS/JTS Gold

Are the HPS titles (patched with the latest HPS updates) compatible with the JTS and JTS Gold versions?

The JTS gold series are different to the HPS titles. You can patch up to the Gold series if you have the original HPS title. See this thread

They wouldn't be in that the non-Gold JTS versions were using a different set of graphics (different placements for things like streams and creeks, and some other stuff I think) - that are different from the HPS versions, as well as being different from the Gold versions done by WDS.

AFAIk only the version number is important, so if you have a HPS version and a JTS version patched to the same version number they are compatible, it doesn't matter if one version depicts other graphics.

I should have been clearer in my original post. Up until now, I've only played PzC and MC in single player mode. I just started a PBEM game with Embis and I wanted to know if the HPS versions were PBEM compatible with their JTS and JTS Gold counterparts.

So, what I am tracking is that graphics wise, HPS, JTS and JTS Gold are not compatible and that I can't mix and match graphics between them.

I'm also tracking that the HPS and JTS (non Gold) versions are PBEM compatible as long as they are on the same version number, but that the HPS and JTS Gold versions are not PBEM compatible.

Am I correctly understanding the situation?
