Variable objective points help please

Just to make sure I've understood the manual correctly, before I start a PBEM, can someone confirm my interpretation of the highlighted line in the pic below, please?

I think it says that between turns 1 and 10 if the Allies hold the objective they get 5 points PER TURN, if the Italians own it they get 1 point PER TURN. Is that right?
