Can you try copy paste the game folder (non gold version) from XP machine to Win10 machine and instead install in Win10 the patch simple unzip it and copy paste over the game Win 10 folder???

Thanks Xavier, I'll give that a try. I'll delete the update from my Win 10 machine, then load the previous version of Sicily '43. After that, I'll re-do the update. 

I didn't have any problems upgrading Kharkov '43 to the Gold standard, not exactly sure what's different here.

Once again, excellent customer service from JTS. Rich at John Tiller Software sent me a link to download Sicily '43 Gold.

This is what I did each time with ALL the GOLD upgrades.

Copy the game ( I.E. Sicily'43 ) from the HPS Simulations folder.

Paste into the John Tiller Software folder.

Download and unzip the GOLD edition.

Start the game enter serial number.
