RE: Japan '45 and '46 updates released
So, the erroneously placed obstacle in '46 is intentional? I don't have my computer so I can't check it.

Please tell me which scenario and I’ll check now and update if necessary.

We’ve tried to fix everything reported but may miss some things in these updates.

Thanks.

The bad news is that the following had not;

RE: Japan '45 and '46 updates released
Rich,

These are unit values. In your example the soft Attack value was increased from 9 to 10.

This will impact all games, pbem or vs the AI

Thank you for the update, look like the work in the Pacific is going to help release maybe future titles more polished.

The announcement email mentioned that Japan '46 was selling at about half the rate of Japan '45.  Any thoughts as to why?

I can think of a few. It appears to be a very similar title to Japan ‘45 (it’s not). It came out 6 months after the first Japan title, which is a lot closer than normal. And, one that I have heard a few times, is that people had not realised they were different titles. Maybe we should have called them Olympic and Coronet to differentiate them more.

Japan ‘46 is a really interesting title and worth a look.
