Napoleonic Title by JTS with smaller map scenarios?
Which title in the JTS Napoleonic battles series has more smaller maps in the scenarios?
Prefer a medium map, medium density of units and medium game length.

I have been playing Gettsburg ACW title and although I am enjoying it the scenarios are too extreme, either huge maps, massive numbers of units and turns or else the exact opposite.I have looked at quite a few scenarios so far (from 1 to 159 so far) and most are just huge and the little scenarios are too small.I get lost in the really big maps, the larger unit numbers are OK but the huge maps I find too much.

Also I prefer a large selection of unit types, maybe different nationalities.
1814 and Leipzig seem they may offer this, are there many medium sized Map scenarios in them?

Alternatively is the Peninsular War titles better for smaller maps?

I want a Napoleonic Title but would prefer If a greater number of scenarios suited my taste more.

I'm a newbie to the JTS Napoleonic Series and only have Marengo, covering the 1796 and 1800 campaigns. Mostly rather small maps and numbers of units, at least the solo scenarios.

Agree. RBR and both Peninsular games have a lot of medium scenarios too.

Waterloo Campaign has tons of scenarios (220) with lots of medium size ones.

Eckmuhl would be another good option. The Eckmuhl campaign was a series of small to medium engagements which give you a nice mix of those kinds of battles.

Thanks for all your great suggestions.

My initial thoughts about 1814 and Leipzig, does someone have experience with them and the scenario map sizes?

I will have to investigate the other Titles suggested.
Eckmuhl and Marengo both look interesting, never would of thought of them. The scenarios for both look cool,I think i would prefer a non British title first ,I can fight with them in the Waterloo demo, same thing for the Waterloo main game and both the Peninsular Games(i assume British centric?),I would get them a bit further down the line.Waterloo and the Peninsular games do look like fun but I want something different to what I already have.
RBR looks good too,the smaller scale units might be a change also.
I looked at the scenario lists for Marengo and RBR,both lots of medium turn length scenarios.
I will get 1 of these 3 titles unless someone else chimes in,they all look fun.

Leipzig has a heap of scenarios from the huge to the small. 10 and 15 minute versions. Recommended.

France 1814 also has a variety of sizes.

The Two Peninsular Titles are not entirely British-centric. They do have Spanish scenarios as well, especially BPW (such as Bailen and Barossa). Though of course, the British are very prominent.

RE: Napoleonic Title by JTS with smaller map scenarios?
Finally bought Eckmuhl in the lastest WDS Sale.
Thanks for the suggestion, it seems like it what I was looking for.

Played the first scenario and now playing the 2nd scenario 01a at the moment.
Called something like 'Delay at Landshut ',game is on my other laptop.
There is 2 bridges that I as the Austrian player need to cross initially.
My infantry all crossed the 2 Bridges without hiccup, had to dispatch a few French first on the way through.

However I cannot seem to get my Artllery ,Cavalry or Supply wagons over the 1st Bridge.
Is this a scenario setting or is it a bug or am I not doing something correctly?

Can someone that has played the 2nd scenario comment as to whether non infantry can cross the Bridge I allude to?

You have two pioneer units. Use them to repair the bridge at hex 88,143. The initial strength of the bridge is 20. From the manual:

For a unit to cross a bridge that has been damaged, the bridge must have a
minimum strength value. This minimum strength value depends on the type of
unit trying to cross according to the following:

• For leaders and infantry units, the bridge must have a minimum strength
of 50.
• For cavalry units, the bridge must have a minimum strength of 100.
• For artillery and supply wagons, the bridge must have a minimum
strength of 150.
