Napoleonic update issue?

Andy Moss and I are playing Leipzig and after we updated the leader loss points went through the roof. My LL points went to over 10000 pts. Don't know if this was planned or a bug. Big Grin

The difference between major defeat and major victory is 34000 pts. According to the new formula points can add up if leaders of higher ranks are captured.

It seems leader losses are "scenario specific" from the changelog.

A captured GenBrig is now worth 78 points at Leipzig. And a Col Anonymous replacing him is worth 76 points. It makes sense that a Col Anon is worth more or less the person he replaces as he is now on that pay grade. But jumping from 8 to 76 is a lot and that explains the big difference in leader loss points during the update.

In case it was a glitch during updating I tried a fresh game against myself and got the same points.

78 isn't that much if the difference between major win and major defeat is 34000 points.

For 10000 reported points this equates to 128 Brigade generals which is quite a lot ;-).

I guess some higher ranked commanders were captured too.

I'm not convinced that the current formula is broken.
