I think we're going to see a lot of major Allied defeats in this. The VP required for the Allies is crazy!

Yes, the victory conditions and objectives don't make much sense. It's unfortunate that they were not adjusted in the alt version.

Agreed.  It is one of the most poorly designed scenarios I've come across in recent memory.  Neither the Base Scenario or the ALT version seem to portray what the historical reality was (i.e.  Conduct a Major Spoiling attack such that the Axis forces will commit their panzer reserve in the South not the North where the real attack was conducted).  The lack of objective points relative to the victory levels encourages the Axis player to play in an ahistorical manner.  Frankly I will surprised if a single Allied Player manages a Drawn game.

Alas! A poor scenario.

My problem as the tournament designer is a lack of information. It was 30 turns, the size was reasonable, BUT theblitz.club scenario database only had one game reported with Win % 0-0-100, a win for the Axis. One game is a small statistical sample.

For the remaining scenarios I have done my best to balance chances, based on criteria including the Win % Stat.

Finish the Round, and I may consider some Tournament Points remediation for this round.

I'm an Allied player, and am enjoying the scenario, in spite of the victory conditions. Maybe for tournament purposes, this one can be "graded on a curve."

As I said before, if you have 1 Axis and 1 Allied winner, balance doesn't matter. If you are Axis, your points are only ranked against other Axis players. Allied against other Allied players. There is no comparing of Axis to Allied. I am Allied. I don't have to be better than Axis. I just have to do better than other Allied players.
